The Studio

The Studio is an artist’s dream room. With a queen bed, writing desk, small armoire and plenty of room, you’ll feel right at home here. This eco-friendly and sustainable cabin room shares a wall with the Workshop and is within close walking distance (a 30 second walk) to the bath house and the kitchen.

The Studio is a 1-2 minute walk from the bath house, which has 3 separate bathrooms with flushing toilets and sinks, 1 private indoor shower and 1 private outdoor shower. The shared kitchen is next to the bath house. The kitchen has a 4 burner stove and oven that you’re also welcome to use and we have a large propane grill outside.

We have picnic tables for outdoor dining under the trees and we have a covered eating pavilion as well. There’s also a trail system that meanders through our 37 acres that you’re welcome to hike on.

SLEEPING:
Inside, you’ll find a plush queen size bed with linens and pillows provided. The Studio has a ceiling fan above the bed and on colder nights, you can use the easy indoor propane stove, so you can stay warm and cozy.

CELL SERVICE/ WIFI:
There is strong cell service here with most providers. We haven’t had any guests mention losing service. There is (some) wifi in the Studio.

DOGS:
Dogs are not allowed at this listing; however if you must bring your pooch, check out our other Airstream listing where they are very much welcome!

CRITTERS, BUGS, HUNTING:
This is Texas, so you may come across fire ants, scorpions, snakes, and other bugs and critters during your stay so bring appropriate shoes and stay aware of where you walk. You may also hear hunting activity from our neighbors during hunting season but it happens sporadically and doesn’t last long.

SURROUNDING AREAS:
15-20 minutes to the Blanco town square is where you’ll find local favorites like Oro Bianco: Texas' first and only water buffalo dairy and creamery with amazing coffee and gelato. You’ll also find a brewery, antique shops and local restaurants. For a day of wineries, drive 30 miles to Fredericksburg, or hike at Enchanted Rock. Take a swim at Hamilton Pool or Pedernales Falls State Park as you drive into Austin or San Antonio for dinner or a live show.
