The Gathering Spaces

Learn more about the space, especially The Workshop: a flexible 600 sq. ft. indoor gathering space designed for retreats, workshops, movement practices, resting, and group discussions.

The space comfortably adapts to a variety of setups, including seated circles, yoga mats, dining tables, dorm-style sleeping arrangements, and movie nights with an almost wall-to-wall projector screen. We recently hosted a retreat with 20 people seated comfortably in a large circle with back-jacks, with room for more.

Whether you’re hosting a workshop, wellness retreat, creative gathering, community dinner, film night, or group stay, The Workshop is designed to shift with your needs.

The property includes 4 queen beds by default with additional beds available upon request for a maximum total of 9 indoor beds across the retreat center, and a beautiful cleared campsite that can fit plenty of tents including our 5 pre-furnished tents, each already set up with 2 twin beds on bed frames (additional fees for pre-furnished tents at $100 per tent per event and each tent sleeps 2).

Cabin: 1 queen bed and 1 optional full sofa bed

Studio: 1 queen bed and either 1 optional queen bed OR 2 twin beds

Airstream: 1 queen bed and 1 optional twin bed

Treehouse: 1 queen bed and 1 optional queen bed in the kitchen area.

5 Pre-furnished tents, each set up with 2 twin beds on bed frames (additional fees for pre-furnished tents at $100 per tent per retreat and each tent sleeps 2).

All additional beds include proper mattresses and frames (no air mattresses) with full linens provided for each bed EXCEPT in the pre-furnished tents (BYO-Bedding).

Pricing starts at $1200/night for 25 guests (additional fees for pre-furnished tents at $100 per tent per event and each tent sleeps 2).

Hosts may check in at noon and participants may check in at 2:00 p.m. on arrival day and check out by noon on departure day.

You'll have exclusive access to our entire venue and 37 acres, including all indoor and outdoor spaces.

Inclusions:

• Access to all spaces, including the lodging spaces and campground, the Workshop, Courtyard, Pavilion, Pool, Plateau, Kitchen, Bathhouse, Lodging Spaces, Campground, Picnic Tables, Fire Pit, Ancient Oak, and the Three Sisters Trees.

• 25 yoga mats, 25 mexican blankets, 25 backjacks, at no extra cost

• Hiking trails for a peaceful exploration of the beautiful surroundings.

Note: We do not offer daytime only discounts. You certainly don’t have to spend the night, but we only offer this overnight package.

1. Fill out the form below and we’ll reply within 1-2 days.

2. We may request that you schedule an in person tour to make sure we’re a good fit. We offer flexible dates for scheduling.

3. Once you decide to book our property for your event, we’ll send over our rental agreement for you to review and sign electronically.

4. You’ll then receive an invoice which can be paid online with a credit card or with cash or check. Easy peasy!

(A) A deposit equal to fifty percent (50%) of the total rental fee is due upon signing of this Rental Agreement. The event date shall not be considered reserved until Hill Country Nature Retreat has received both the signed Rental Agreement and the required deposit payment. The deposit shall be applied toward the total rental fee. The total rental fee shown in this Agreement may be adjusted to reflect any additional services, rentals, or add-ons requested by Renter after signing, including but not limited to tent rentals. Any such charges will be added to the final invoice, which must be paid in full no later than ten (10) days prior to the event.

B) The remaining balance of the rental fee shall be due in full no later than thirty (30) days prior to the scheduled event date.

(C) All cancellations must be submitted in writing by email to Hill Country Nature Retreat.

(D) If Renter cancels sixty (60) days or more prior to the scheduled event date, the deposit shall be refunded, less a $300 administrative fee. Any eligible refund will be initiated by Hill Country Nature Retreat within five (5) business days following receipt of the written cancellation notice.

(E) If Renter cancels less than sixty (60) days prior to the scheduled event date, the deposit shall be considered nonrefundable.

(F) In the event of a cancellation by Renter, Hill Country Nature Retreat may, at its discretion, attempt to rebook the reserved event date. If Hill Country Nature Retreat successfully rebooks the same date at the same rental rate, Hill Country Nature Retreat may issue a refund of amounts paid by Renter, less the $300 administrative fee.
